Quality!!!

Well there's no doubt in my mind that this week's show contained nothing but top quality rock music. It was a slight departure for me from what I'd normally play on Flash 1512 but still incredibly enjoyable to put together.

Tonight also see me play my 300th song on radio that being the last one of the evening. I couldn't think of a better song to choose.

Make sure you check out www.flash1512.co.uk where you'll find loads of info about the station and also a form you can fill in to request songs to be played on the various presenters shows.

Even I'd listen to that one

Well, I'm chuffed with how that one went. Strictly between you and me, the first few shows I did for Flash 1512 were deliberately set up to be crowd pleasers, not that that's a bad thing but I was still finding my way a bit and also to build a rapport with those listening. I guess I felt I had to gain peoples trust and at the same time find my feet. Because I'm still being asked back each week to do more it must be going okay.

The show has changed quite a bit over the months. I'm getting a little self indulgent in what I play whilst at the same time trying to ensure that you, the listener will be entertained. Let me know if you think I'm not getting that balance right. Ultimately it's about what the listener wants, not me but I'd certainly listen to my show if I was listening in for the first time.

If you haven't been over there yet, Flash 1512 has a new website reflecting the recent upgrade to the station's logo as seen below:
